Purchase Online
*NOTICE* Online purchases have been taken down because of supplementary charges to the cost per ticket, and we dont wish to carry on the cost to the participants. Our apologies. Please purchase your tickets at the door, or during tabling hours in Jester all week 10am-2pm!
Here, you can pre-purchase your tickets online.
If you cannot purchase tickets online or wish to pay with cash, no worries! We will be accepting cash payments at our tabling hours at Jester from 9am-2pm (April 7-17) at the University of Texas at Austin. We will also be accepting cash payments "at the door" on the days of the Convention.
Remember, there is a 18$ total charge to attend both days of the convention, which we strongly recommend! If there is a conflict in schedule, participants are able to purchase 1 ticket for 1 desired day if they can't attend both days of the convention.

- ALL SALES ARE FINAL! THERE ARE NO REFUNDS!
- Do NOT lose/tear your ticket or subject it to "wear & tear". You will NOT be allowed access into the building/dance room without a fully intact ticket.

"Wreck Them Peoples" Convention
"Wreck Them Peoples" Dance Convention is the first ever 2-full-day workshop that consists of experienced hip-hop dance choreographers from all over Texas. The Choreographers that will teach at this 2-day workshop come from Houston, San Antonio, Austin, Dallas, Arlington, etc. There will be a 18$ Total charge to the public for both full days and all proceeds will be donated to Big Brothers Big Sisters charity! At this convention, each choreographer gets to teach their own personal style, flavor, and swag and rep their own hometown city/school.
Join RDC's movement as we step forward on putting Texas on the map as one of the greatest hip-hop forces in America, and further develop it's own special Texas-Southern Style.

Building Locations & Parking
RSC - Rec Sports Center
The Rec center is on San Jacinto Blvd to your right if you head north from MLK. there is parking all around the building, Just be sure to pay attention to parking signs. UT is NOTORIOUS for parking tickets, and just a little bit of caution goes a long way.
UNB - Union Building
The Union is on the corner of 24th and Guadalupe. You can find parking at meters all up and down guadalupe, and on parallel streets to it (San Antonio, Nuece, Rio Grande). there's even a little bit of parkng on Whitis, but be careful and pay attention to signs. Once again, a little bit of attention goes a long way.

The Choreographers
HEAD CHOREOGRAPHERS
David Dinh
David was born and raised in Manila, Philippines. After transferring to TX for high school, found a love for b-boying culture and started breaking WHILE eating copious amounts of food in his spare hours (He says root beer floats replenish his tank the quickest). While attending the University of Texas he started expanding his range to popping, freestyle and locking. He has previously danced with wolves, the stars, UTFSA Modern and on top of the Eiffel Tower. Now after helping co-found Redefined Dance Co, he hopes to keep dancing and spread his love for the dance to others willing to learn.

Nicholas Martin
Nick has two passions in his life: film & dance. Nick is currently a University of Texas Senior majoring in Radio-Television-Film. He has previously danced with a small Houston crew called Impresion, UTSA-FSA Modern, & UT-FSA Modern. He currently practices the Hip-Hop and Popping styles.

The Audition Process
- You will have 2 days to learn 2 choreography pieces from 2 of our choreographers. This is based upon availability. If you cannot make the first choreography-learning date, then you can go learn the dance pieces on the second choreography-learning date (and vice versa). We, however, strongly recommend going to both days to practice the routines.
- You will learn a 3rd additional piece on the Day of the Audition
- On the day of Audition, you will be asked to randomly perform one of the 2 routines that you have learned from the previous 2 choreography dates, and are required to perform the 3rd routine that was taught the day of auditions.
- You will be video-taped and be judged upon your best performance. This footage will not in any shape or form be shared with anyone else besides the choreographers of RDC.
- You will be notified via e-mail of Audition Results.
About Redefined Dance Company
Redefined Dance Company is a student organization dedicated to increasing the hip-hop dancing scene in the local Austin, Texas area. Founded in 2007, We wish to increase interest in hip-hop dance, provide a fun and recreational hip hop dance outlet, and contribute opportunities for those who wish to improve their own dance skills. We currently practice the hip-hop, popping (funk), and locking (funk) styles.
We offer FREE choreography classes that are held every other week and are completely open to the public. Only interest is necessary to participate. Our classes are currently every other week. Please join our e-mailing list & facebook group to learn of any new updates. Our choreographers alternate teaching classes every week, opening up new routines and different styles to the public.
As a dancing organization, our company also performs as a dance team at various events around the local Austin, Texas area. We do it to express our passion, love, and creativity for hip-hop choreography. An audition process is required to fully participate within our dance team. Team auditions are held once a semester.
Choreographer positions are also open within the company. Again, an audition process is necessary to participate in teaching classes and choreographing for various performances. Auditions for choreographer positions are held at any time so feel free to contact any of the head choreographers for more information.
