The Audition Process
- You will have 2 days to learn 2 choreography pieces from 2 of our choreographers. This is based upon availability. If you cannot make the first choreography-learning date, then you can go learn the dance pieces on the second choreography-learning date (and vice versa). We, however, strongly recommend going to both days to practice the routines.
- You will learn a 3rd additional piece on the Day of the Audition
- On the day of Audition, you will be asked to randomly perform one of the 2 routines that you have learned from the previous 2 choreography dates, and are required to perform the 3rd routine that was taught the day of auditions.
- You will be video-taped and be judged upon your best performance. This footage will not in any shape or form be shared with anyone else besides the choreographers of RDC.
- You will be notified via e-mail of Audition Results.
Note:
To audition for specialized styles such as Popping & Locking, please notify any of the Head Choreographers. We have a different audition process for these styles of dances. We currently do not have any Break Dance (B-Boy, Breaking) dance styles or curriculum... We apologize. None of our choreographers specialize in this particular style.
